The trap is a mechanical device that stops the steam until it condenses in the process chamber (transfer of latent heat to the process).
Once condensed, the condensate is evacuated by the trap.

Thermodynamic steam trap


Application area : Purging condensate in a state of slight subcooling.

The condensates evacuated under pressure from the vaporization steam moving at a high speed.
At start-up, the incoming pressure lifts the disc and the right condensates and air are immediately discharged outwards by the two outlets

Pressure : PN 16 to PN 63.
Nominal diameter : DN 15 to DN 50.
Temperature : 10 ° C to 450 ° C.
Fitting : Solder Tip / Bride / Solder Sleeve / Tapped Sleeve.

Closed float trap


Application Range : Immediate purge at saturation temperature, without condensate retention.

The closed float trap senses the difference in density between the steam and the condensate. it easily evacuates condensate as soon as it is formed, and is insensitive to pressure changes.

Pressure : PN 16 to PN 160.
Nominal diameter : DN 15 to DN 50.
Temperature : 10 ° C to 300 ° C.
Fitting : Solder Tip / Flange / Solder Sleeve / Tapped Sleeve.
Materials : Cast Steel / Forged Steel / Stainless Steel / Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron.

Bimetal traps


Area of application : For condensate drain with light or heavy subcooling.

The bimetallic trap is constructed using two metal strips having different thermal expansion coefficients (bimetallic) welded together into a single element that hinges when heated.

Pressure : PN 16 to PN 40.
Nominal size : DN15 to DN 50.
Temperature : 10 ° C to 450 ° C.
Fitting : Solder Tip / Flange / Solder Sleeve / Tapped Sleeve.
Materials : Cast Steel / Forged Steel / Stainless Steel / Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron.

Pump Steam trap


Area of application : Vacuum breaker for pipes, vessels and heat exchangers, in which the pressure must not fall below atmospheric pressure.

When the condensate flows into the trap, the float rises and the engine fluid inside the body is discharged through the exhaust valve. Conversely, when the engine fluid takes place in the body of the trap, the float descends, which closes the check valve upstream and opens the check valve downstream. The condensate is expelled to the outlet pipe.

Pressure : PN 16.
Nominal diameter : DN 25 to DN 50.
Temperature : 10 ° C to 400 ° C.

Purgeur à flotteur inversé ouvert


Domaine d'application : Purge de condensat

En fonctionnement normal, un purgeur à flotteur inversé est rempli de vapeur saturée et de condensat. La vapeur surchauffée ne peut entrer que si la vapeur contenue dans le purgeur se condense. Le purgeur se trouve donc à la température de la vapeur saturée ou à une température légèrement inférieure, quel que soit le degré de surchauffe.

Pression : PN 16 à PN 63.
Diamètre nominal : DN 15 à DN 80.
Température : 10° C à 450°C.
Raccord : Brides / à Souder / Taraudé.
Matériaux : Acier moulé / Acier forgé / Acier inoxydable / Fonte à graphite sphéroïdal.
